Scott & Naomi

Scott and Naomi Gaglardi are high school sweethearts who have been married for 31 years, have been involved in local church ministry for over 25 years, and have lived in Chilliwack for the last 7 years. Scott and Naomi have three grown children: Mercedes, Emerson, Hudson and Kenzie (married), who all live in the Lower Mainland and constantly provide them with great joy and lots of laughter.

They love the city of Chilliwack with all its beauty, opportunities, potential, and people. But they also know that it is a city with some real challenges, probably the biggest being people’s struggles with loneliness and isolation. People are looking for a safe place to be welcomed and accepted into relationships, a place where they can be known and belong, and a place where it’s okay to not be okay.

Their family table is made up of people that think differently, eat differently, vote differently, and believe differently, and yet each one knows that they are loved and belong at the table. This is Scott and Naomi’s heart for Sanctuary Church: that everyone would know they have a seat at the table and are loved.

This is why, with a team of people, they launched Sanctuary Church to create an environment and community where people can come into a safe space and experience the life changing love of Jesus.
